Fishing has been really good on Galveston Bay lately with lots of redfish, black drum and trout coming in the boat! The bull red run is in full swing and should remain that way through most of November.

Shark fishing has been great this summer with some nice trout and redfish mixed in. We've been catching fish all over Galveston Bay and looking forward to our fall fishing and the exciting Bull Redfish run!

Trip: Half Day Galveston Inshore Trip

It was a windy day but Jonathan took us right to a honey-hole out of the wind. The rods and reels were ready to go and easy to use. We caught fish all day long and came home with a nice haul which Jonathan cleaned and bagged for us. He even directed us to a local restaurant that cooked up a few of our fresh filets for dinner. It was a great day from beginning to end!

We had great communication and helpful tips with Captain Lance's team from the moment we booked. He promised our crew of six LandLubbers that we’d be catching a bunch of fish on St. Patrick’s Day … and that’s exactly what we did! Our take on the day: some sheepshead, flounder, a bonnet-head shark, and the prize catch: a 35-inch redfish! Even Captain Lance was proud of that one – “about the biggest fish you’re ever going to catch with light tackle!” Then to finish things off, he expertly cleaned our fish … and offered some great tips on how to prepare them. We’ve been eating delicious fish dinners ever since! Thanks, Captain Lance, for memories that will last a lifetime!
