Today’s half-day customers were two cousins. I really enjoyed meeting them and spending time on the water with them. Both were retired from the Air Force, and they sure enjoyed cutting up and laughing! There were several firsts for them today: their first time on Lake Conroe and their first time fishing with LiveScope. We had a few missed opportunities and a couple that came off at the boat, but once they started getting the hang of how to trick those finicky crappie into biting, they put together a nice mess of fish. Minnows were the bait of choice today....

White bass: 15 ft on points early morning 6-9 am. Sometimes they’ll stick around a little bit longer or all day for that matter. But looking for them, I would hit all the points 15 foot before looking deeper.

Fishing has been good, trout fishing has been steady with croaker then we have been hunting down reds once we are done with the trout!

Lady Bird Lake Fishing Report – Mid-Summer Update
Lady Bird Lake is at a normal level with stained water and about 2–3 feet of visibility. Water temperatures are around 81°, and summer patterns are in full swing. Some of the best action has been coming from schools of bass roaming open water and feeding on shad.
