    Superb weather the past week made for great days on water. Plenty of sunshine and moderate wind days anglers enjoyed sunshine and rod bending action. Channels and backwaters held plenty of tarpon, the bigger Tarpon finicky at times allowed anglers to witness tarpon temperament. Primarily due to the full moon the bite was hit and miss but the juvenile tarpon do have the same mind set as bigger fish at times, they like to eat if baits is around. Live baits and Rapala twitch baits. Snook fishing was awesome the past week lots of small fish but all four species of snook were caught. Docks also held schooling fish, live baits and jigs worked around pilings got the strike. Fly fishing for snook for multiple days with anglers made for lots of surface strikes and great takes next to the boat. Rock piles and wrecks held plenty of snapper, drum and schools of jacks, bluefish, lady fish and runners. Jigs and shrimp worked near the bottom got hit almost every drop, creating bent rod and happy anglers. Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can’t catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines!

Spinner baits also good slow rolled over the same areas . Viper XP jigs in sour-grape and purple passion are good on big wood and lay downs . Best depth 6-8 ft . Square bills still working around the ditches and creeks . Red or orange is best in 3-6 ft

    🔥🔥Dropping Pigs 🐖🐖🐖 on the deck!!! 🔥🔥I got to take Noah and his grandpa out for an evening fishing trip! Noah is 14 years old and he absolutely killed it!!! In only 2hrs he caught like 15-20 fish and a bunch of giants!!!

With this massive cold front coming through Florida a few days ago with nights being in the low 30s for 3 straight days. They did not bite that well until the afternoon. We still caught them, of course on shiners. 😉 The bite should be getting better and better as the days warm that water up a few degrees and they’re just about ready to spawn!     I took my great friend and client Micah out yesterday and we completely wrecked the bass along with our hands! We caught somewhere between 50-60 bass we both lost count 😂 It was seriously a day to remember. Between not having time to talk because we caught so many fish to me somehow losing a rod over the side of boat because a little baby bass grabbed my lure and pulled my rod in when I was not looking. No worries I actually caught it back off the bottom of the lake with a giant weight and hook!!! Then Micah caught 5 bass on his first 5 casts with an A-rig (He had never thrown one before) and some old guys were fishing near us and could not believe how many fish he kept catching on it while they could not catch anything. I promise you it’s not all the guide. Micah flat out knows how to catch bass!!! Thank you for the memories Micah that I will never forget!

    The crappie and large mouth bass bite has been on fire right now here in Florida. We have been fishing on Lake Panasoffkee. For the Crappie aka Specks we have been using minnows on number 6 gold hooks under a slip cork they have been running in 4ft to 6ft of water. We have had are best luck under the oak trees hanging over the water in the shadows. The large mouth bass has been in the Hydrilla and a long the shoreline chasing bait out Florida bass are getting ready for the spawn in the next couple months. The big female will be pulling up on the beds around the shoreline's and docks. Use a rattle trap and a purple warm for your best results.
