Hey man, the inshore fishing has been heating up as the water cools down. A lot of redfish, mangrove snapper, and a few flounder mixed in. The offshore bite has stayed consistent through the past few weeks with triggerfish, vermillion snapper, and amberjack

The fall fishing is starting to heat up really well! As the temperatures drop the fishing gets hotter, plenty of Snook, Redfish, Jacks, Trout, Snapper, and Grouper to be caught.

Fishing report from Jarrod W. in Tampa, Florida

Fishing in hot summer waters can sometimes be tough, but with the right tides, depths and bait, some fish are still biting! Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel and the Sharks are on fire right now. Fish are going in the cooler and clients are leaving the docks with bags of meat. With cooler waters just around the corner Redfish will start biting hard in Tampa Bay.

Inshore fishing in sarasota continues to remain very good. We are bringing home limits of mangrove snapper that are finishing out their spawn, the snapper will continue to bite for the next few weeks as we transition into our fall pattern. Snook are starting to make their way back into the bay and are transitioning getting ready to head back into the creeks and rivers. We are catching decent size snook at the higher stages of the tide around mangroves. Shots at juvenile Tarpon are being had early in the morning as they roll on the surface. Spotted sea trout are starting to make good showings on the edges of deeper grass flats, some smaller schools of Spanish mackerel and bluefish are also around the deeper grass flats. We are catching plenty of live white bait in the morning and that has proven to be key for a successful trip.

Fishing in the Freeport/West Galveston Bay area has been great! Redfish and flounder can be caught along the grass lines with live shrimp and a popping cork. Trout have been good along the guts and sand flats using artificial and live bait

Looks like the unseasonal wind is finally subsiding. Mutton snapper has been the highlight bottom fishing. King fish bonitos and mahi are around. I've been finding some Goliath grouper and large snook for the Instagram bros. Mullet run is right around the corner. Then the tarpon ,snook,Jack, and blacktip sharks will be abundant. When this happens we always seem to find mahi offshore.

Hey David, We are deep into summer here and the water is hot. Our customers have been enjoying catching Snook, Mangrove Snapper and Jacks in our passes and along our beaches. We have also been getting lucky with the Trout in the bay along our grass flats. The key has been finding the cooler water and schools of bait fish.

Snapper season is starting to wind down but there are still some fish out there if you are willing to move around a bit. Inshore the Jack crevalles are name of the game this time of year. They will pop up around the bay and you better be ready with a swim bait or topwater plug to get after them. The heat has the redfish and trout bite slowed tremendously but some good fish can still be caught early morning or late evening.
