I love this. Taking people fishing since 2004 and I still feel like a little kid. What I like most about my business is that I don't just do one type of trip. If it swims, I fish for it. And I appreciate the little things; seeing the sunrise, enjoying the seas, teaching kids and adults how to fish; how to best handle the gear. With some species, it's just amazing to target them (like giant tuna, sharks). Other species are great to eat and catch in numbers. Cape Cod is a great place to fish; tons of species to target. And warm waters!
Our season starts in April and ends in November. The "short list" is:
April: Squid.
May: Squid, porgy (scup), black sea bass, stripers/blues, fluke
June: Porgy, black sea bass, stripers/blues, fluke, bluefin tuna

Stripers were on the tuna grounds! Loads of them. Smaller tuna are finally around Cape Cod. We need more calm seas. Tautog are in and the albies/bonitos are still in. We have 6 more weeks before I put the boat away for the winter.

Early September 2026
Recently we have been fishing for fluke and sea bass, as those seasons come to a close at the end of the month. In good form, the tautog bite is heating up and the bonito and false albacore are tantalizing anglers on Cape Cod. The most exciting action doesn't always end in our favor. But it's fun!! Giant tuna and sharks are still biting heavily for the "go big or go home" crowd. Sell days for giant tuna are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday....let's have some fun and bend rods!

Late July 2026
The fluke bite is excellent now. When they are biting they even are chasing baits to the surface. Lots of numbers in certain areas to sort through for keepers or we "go big or go home" for the bigger fluke. Slower action, but bigger fish. Black Sea bass are keeping coolers filled as are striped bass in the shoals around Monomoy, south of Cape Cod.
Tuna tantalizing us is common right now. We usually hook up when we are least expecting it! Lots of big fish around, so bring your A-game.
