The Ten Thousand Islands are exactly what they sound like—a sprawling labyrinth of mangroves, tidal creeks, and hidden waterways that feel like stepping into another world. Eco tours here are a chance to slip quietly through this maze, where every bend brings new wildlife and untouched beauty. From curious manatees surfacing nearby to egrets standing statuesque in the shallows, the islands offer a rare glimpse into a wild, watery frontier few ever get to explore firsthand.

What makes these tours something special is how they connect you to the pulse of the ecosystem. Guided by locals who’ve spent their lives reading the tides and tracking wildlife, you’re invited to slow down and really notice the small wonders: the way sunlight filters through the mangrove canopy, the gentle rustle of reeds, or the flash of a fish slipping beneath the surface. It’s education without the pressure, an invitation to witness the quiet complexity of a place where water and land blend seamlessly.

When the tour ends and you head back toward the mainland, there’s a sense that you’ve been part of something rare—a glimpse of a world that feels both ancient and alive. The Ten Thousand Islands eco tours aren’t just about seeing nature; they’re about feeling it, respecting it, and carrying a piece of that wildness with you long after you’ve left the water behind.

Had a good time didn’t catch anything to keep. Got a lots of garbage fish. All in all Edwin tried hard. Luck just wasn’t there. That’s fishing.

Incredible experience! Captain Edwin receives 5 stars from us! Our three teenage boys are hard to please and they had so much fun! We caught lots of fish and saw tons of dolphins! It was an amazing trip for our family; one we will never forget.

Edwin was the man! I went on a trip with my friend and my father, and we had a great time. We all got on some great fights with Goliath grouper which we won’t forget any time soon. Edwin was extremely accommodating with our plans, as weather was a big concern. He was very knowledgeable about the area, and provided us with many different options to fish throughout the trip. The boat and gear is all top notch as well. I have had a handful of experiences with different captains, and Edwin is as good as they come! I would recommend to anyone looking to have a good time and catch some fish!

Experienced fisherman. On the water a lot and knows where and what fish you can catch to make sure you have the best day.
