Devils River Overnight

Head out with Kevin and his crew for one of the most awesome fishing experiences around on this deluxe version of their fully guided fly fishing float trip on Devil's River! The Devils River is one of the most rugged and pristine rivers in the Southwest U.S. Very few people get to experience the phenomenal fishing and scenery because of the guarded access. Kevin and his team have access to private properties including several ranches with many miles of frontage! Kevin's deluxe fly fishing trip includes two days of guided fishing in a 14 ft. custom whitewater raft (two clients per boat), three nights lodging in an air conditioned riverfront ranch house with fireplace. Rock art tours and Jeep tours are included upon arrival in the afternoon. They will provide meals and most beverages. Kevin only does parties of two or four with this exclusive package. The cost is $1,750 per person, per day. The Devils River begins its course near Ozona and Sonora, TX. It is a wet weather drainage on the upper end with no permanent pools. Farther downstream near the ghost town of Juno, the river becomes intermittent, surfacing and disappearing beneath gravel bars. Kevin and his guides fish and float the navigable sections of the river. One of their floats begins at Baker's crossing and they fish their way down to the San Pedro Ranch. The ranch has three miles of frontage on the Devils River. They have a three bedroom, two bath cabin, with a river view. San Pedro Ranch has a beautiful riverside, shaded, pecan and oak forest. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of rugged trans-Pecos ranchland, and is truly remote with world class beauty! Another section they fish is twelve miles downstream of Baker's Crossing where they have access to Sycamore Canyon Ranch. This 8,700 acre property has three miles of Devils River frontage and is adjacent to the Devils River State Natural Area (Del Norte Unit). The ranch has a river-front cabin with air conditioning and a fire place giving you a great headquarters for staging adventures downstream. They also have a ranch at the Blue Sage area giving you a great place to launch and take out. Their other property has ten miles of frontage and several tens of thousands of acres near the convergence of the Devils River and Lake Amistad. Wherever Kevin takes you, you're guaranteed to have the time of your life catching fish on what some consider the most beautiful river in the world! Read More
