Spend five days and four nights out on Devil's River fishing for Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass with your guide, Shane. The Devil's River is one of the best Smallmouth Bass fisheries in Texas, and although it's an intense paddle, it's absolutely worth it. The trip will begin by meeting with Shane and his shuttle driver, JD, the first morning. JD will then take you and Shane to the river, where you'll launch by 8:30am and get started. You'll spend all day fishing, and enjoy a camp every night complete with meals and a cozy fire. Shane will take care of all of the gear and set up for camps and meals. The trip will end by once again meeting up with JD to take you back. We are proud to be Rhode Island’s first kayak fishing charter service! Anglers can choose a freshwater trip or a saltwater trip. Everything is included in the price of booking besides your fishing license. All trips are done in pedal driven kayaks so that you can keep your hands free! On saltwater trips you can expect to target striped bass, bluefish, false albacore, Bonito, Tautog, summer flounder, Black Sea bass, Weakfish, and a few more. While on freshwater trips you can expect to target largemouth bass, carp, crappie, and trout. Most trips start at first light however sometimes due to weather/water conditions a trip might need to start later in the day. While we can never guarantee fish quantity or size, what we will guarantee is that you’ll get a great experience for what kayak fishing is all about, you will master the techniques used throughout the day, and you will have great knowledge of the fishery. Once you book your trip, you and your guide will discuss the best fish feeding times and tidal information for the desired day you’d like to go out and figure out the best time and location for you to meet up and start your… Kayak Fishing Adventure. Dave and all his guides have the knowledge and skillset to put you on fish, whether you want to head out into the gulf, sneak into the backcountry, or hit the open bay in a kayak. Dave will provide each customer with first-class angler kayaks that come with the most comfortable seats in the industry, paddle or pedal driven Kayaks, gear and tackle, and all necessary safety equipment. Custom rods and reels are provided for the trip along with artificial tackle, live bait, dry storage containers, sunscreen SPF30+, and bug spray. Although all his guides will have coolers with ice onboard each of the kayaks, customers will have to provide their own 6 pack size cooler for their own drinks and snacks. Dave and all his guides will also take PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS of the fish you catch and email you all pictures upon your request. They will also bring along a GO-PRO camera to take any video of your preference upon request. You never know what footage might get snagged! Captain Drew offers these fly fishing trips for up to 2 passengers, but he can fit 3 anglers if you choose to do some spin fishing from the boat. You'll be fishing aboard a 20’ Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman center console that can comfortably fit 3 anglers. Equipped with a 115 HP Yamaha engine and jack plate for shallow water, this boat will have no problem navigating the shallows and flats of Monomoy and Cape Cod Bay, and it will get you where you need to be in the open water too! Sneaking up on fish for some sight-casting is a breeze with this vessel's front-side and back-side casting decks with a poling platform. And if you want to hop out and wade sandbars in prime spots, the low freeboard and ladder have you covered! On this trip you must bring your own fly rod and gear.
