From there, Captain David will take you out on the water for 5-6 hours. The Galveston Bay system is home to the “Texas Big Three” (Redfish, Flounder, and Speckled Trout), plus Amberjack, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Shark, and many more species. Captain David will help you reel ‘em all in! You’ll return to Thompson’s Bait Camp where Captain David and his crew will clean and fillet your fish. Captain David will then cook you a “captain’s lunch” from your day’s catch. Captain David will then take you back out on the water for 4-5 hours where you will test your casting accuracy once again. You will return to Thompson’s Bait Camp just in time for dinner. Captain David will cook you your day’s catch as you watch the sunset from the camp’s dock.
