About Your Trip

Join Captain Sheldon for a reef fishing trip off the coast of Harbour Island, and enjoy a relaxed day exploring the beautiful waters and reef systems that surround this iconic Out Island. With decades of local experience, Captain Sheldon will guide you to areas that offer a chance to target Snapper, Grouper, Barracuda, Mutton Snapper, and other reef species common to the region.

Whether you're new to fishing or just looking to enjoy time on
the water, this trip offers a great opportunity to learn, explore, and spend time with friends or family in a unique setting. Captain Sheldon and his mate will provide instruction and support along the way—from baiting hooks to reeling in your fish—while making sure everyone feels comfortable and involved.

The boat can accommodate up to 15 passengers, making it ideal for group outings. Fishing gear is provided for 5 to 6 anglers at a time, so your group can rotate through turns at the rods while others relax in the shaded seating area or enjoy the views.

You’ll be fishing from either a 32’ Outrage or a 34’ Venture, both powered by twin engines for a stable ride. The 34’ Venture offers additional comfort, with a working bathroom and shaded back deck—perfect for staying cool and comfortable during your trip.

Half-day and full-day trips are available, and each charter is customized based on your group’s preferences and the day’s conditions. All tackle, bait, and licenses are included, and if you plan to keep a few fish, Captain Sheldon will happily clean them for you at the end of the trip.

Come enjoy a day on the reef with a true local expert and experience the beauty and rhythm of life on the water around Harbour Island.

Sheldon and his mate Jake were fantastic! They picked us up on Harbour Island and we cruised over towards Spanish Wells to dive a few traps for lobsters. We had 11 guys and they made sure we were all situated on the boat comfortably - we had plenty of room to lounge when we weren't diving. The spots ranged from 18 feet at the most to 6 feet at the shallowest and our group of rookies had no problem diving down and spearing some lobsters with slings (although it might have helped if we could hold our breath longer!). We hit 6 traps and one in particular had a ton of lobsters so we caught more than enough for a great lunch at Valentine's Marina after getting back. Thank y'all again!
