About Your Trip

Join Captain Ian for a day on the Fraser River, one of British Columbia's most well-known fisheries. Departing from Island 22 Park in Chilliwack, these 8- and 10-hour trips give you the opportunity to spend a full day on the water targeting Sturgeon and Salmon, depending on the season.

The Fraser River is known for its mountain scenery, wildlife, and expansive stretches of water. Fishing conditions can change throughout the day, and Captain Ian will work hard to put you in the best position possible based on the conditions and the fishery that day.

This trip caters to all skill levels, so whether you're new to fishing or have plenty of experience, Captain Ian is happy to help throughout the day and share what he knows about the river.

Please keep in mind that this is a physically demanding trip and is not recommended for children under 12 years old due to the length and physical nature of the day.

You'll be fishing from a 22' jet boat equipped with Mega Side Imaging sonar, allowing Captain Ian to efficiently locate structure and fish-holding areas as you move along the river.

Trips depart at 8:00 AM.

Everything you need for fishing is included, and fish cleaning is provided at the end of the trip. We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any other personal items you'd like to have with you. Lunch is available for an additional fee, or you're welcome to bring your own. Feel free to bring your own drinks as well, and beer is welcome as long as it's in cans.

If you're looking to spend a full day on the Fraser River with a knowledgeable local guide, Captain Ian looks forward to welcoming you aboard and will do his best to help you make the most of your time on the water.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
