Join Captain Brock for a fully guided salmon trip targeting some of the Pacific Northwest’s most sought-after species. Depending on the season and conditions, you’ll have the opportunity to fish for Chinook and Coho salmon, with additional chances at steelhead, seabass, and even crab.

Trips take place across a range of productive waters including the Columbia and Willamette Rivers, with the flexibility to fish nearshore or slightly offshore (typically within 4–5 miles) when conditions line up. Captain Brock adjusts each trip based on where the fish are holding, so you’re always fishing the most productive areas available.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 25’ Rogue with plenty of space for up to 6 anglers, fully equipped with all rods, reels, and tackle needed for the day.

Full day (8-hour) trips begin with a 6:00 AM pickup at a location selected the day prior based on current conditions, with lines in the water through the morning and early afternoon before wrapping up around 3:00 PM. Half day (6-hour) trips follow a similar plan, starting at 6:00 AM and fishing through noon before heading back in.

Expect to use a mix of trolling, jigging, and bottom fishing techniques with heavier tackle designed for salmon and other powerful fish. Captain Brock keeps things approachable and will guide you through the process, whether it’s your first time or you’ve done it before.

You’ll want to grab a valid fishing license and tags ahead of time, and bring along any snacks, drinks, and layers for changing coastal conditions. Pickup locations may vary day-to-day, and families are more than welcome—kids included.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
