About Your Trip

f filling the cooler with one of the best-eating fish in freshwater sounds like your kind of day, this Lake Erie adventure is for you. Every spring and early summer, Captain Michael relocates one of his vessels to Port Clinton, Ohio, placing anglers in the heart of one of the most productive walleye fisheries in the world.

Known as the "Walleye Capital of the World," western Lake Erie offers incredible action during the annual migration.
It's not uncommon to experience doubles, triples, and even quadruple hookups as schools of hungry fish move through the area. When conditions are right, anglers can enjoy fast-paced fishing and leave with plenty of fresh fillets for the dinner table.

These 7-hour trips focus primarily on trolling, the most effective method for consistently targeting Lake Erie's famous walleye. Captain Michael and his crew will handle the details while helping anglers learn as much about the fishery as they'd like. Whether you're an experienced angler or introducing your family to Great Lakes fishing, this trip is designed to be fun, productive, and approachable for all skill levels.

Fishing takes place aboard a spacious Tiara sportfishing boat equipped with modern electronics, radar, fish-finding technology, comfortable seating, and an onboard restroom. Rods, reels, tackle, bait, and lures are all included, and a first mate is onboard to help ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the day.

Families are welcome, and children are encouraged to join in on the fun. Just bring your Ohio fishing license, sunglasses, sunscreen, drinks, snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing. With incredible numbers of fish, beautiful Great Lakes scenery, and a crew dedicated to helping you succeed, it's easy to see why anglers return to Lake Erie year after year.
