About Your Trip

Join Captain Eric for a day of inshore fishing out of South Padre Island, exploring the productive waters of the Laguna Madre. Whether you’re looking to drift from the boat or hop out and wade, Eric will tailor the day around the conditions and what the fish are doing.

You’ll be targeting classic South Texas inshore species including Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, and Snook. Fishing is primarily done with artificial lures, with live bait available for an additional cost if you’d like to add it to your trip.

You'll fish aboard Eric's 24' Simmons, equipped with a T-top, trolling motor with Spot-Lock, Power-Poles, Bluetooth, live wells, a cooler, and seating for up to 6. The boat can accommodate up to 5 anglers for drift fishing trips or groups of up to 6 when wade fishing.

After your trip, fish cleaning services are available at the marina for an additional cost, making it easy to take your catch home ready for the table.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
