About Your Trip

This is the trip you’ve been searching for! Aboard the 28’ Baha fisherman, you will have a comfortable ride to the fish! All gear is industry leading top of the line with no shortcuts taken! Everyday can be different on Lake Erie, but we will do everything we can to get you on them and fill the cooler with quality fish! We can customize the experience to what you are expecting for your day on the water. Whether it’s a full day of trolling, casting, or half & half.

Trolling will consist of myself and a first mate setting rods with divers and downriggers. Then running divers or wire line with crankbaits on planer board lines. This can result in some very fast paced fishing! Not unusual to have multiple fish coming up behind the boat at a time. At the same time you can sit back and relax, laugh and joke with your crew!

A day of casting is hands on the whole time! Using spinning gear, you will cast jigs, blade baits, casting spoons or my home made worm harnesses with inline weights. On the corners of the boat we will set rods with bottom bouncers and harnesses to pick through some extra fish. This will also be instructional and I will be fishing with you to make sure our technique is on point! Don’t be mistaken, casting for walleyes can still be fast paced and a ton of fun!

If you would like to cast first and troll for the rest of your fish, that is fine too! We will start out drifting for about 2-3 hours. Then throw the trolling gear out and get to work!

We will work with you to make this day what you expect!

Before 2017 I fished on charters exclusively with one of Lake Erie's finest captains where I watched and learned growing up. I purchased my first boat then and started doing my own thing with my dad and friends. We fished all the time! Everywhere! Learning everything we could on all the area lakes! Lake Erie always stood out to us because of the amount of trophy walleye and steelhead it holds! After a few years as a first mate and captain on other boats I decided it time to do my own things again and take people fishing the way I was taught! To give everyone that comes in my boat a safe and enjoyable experience in “The Walleye Capital of The World”!

If you were cooking for all your friends what would you cook?
Beef on the spit with walleye and fries!
What’s your favorite band?
I can’t say I have a favorite band but I am a fan of everything country music.
What’s your drink of choice?
Nothing beats a coffee on the boat ride out with the sun coming over the horizon!
How did you get started guiding?
I started as a first mate on a couple boats in the area. Shortly into it I knew this is something I wanted to do! When I obtained my captains license, I started on another boat and put my time in learning and decided it was time to do it on my own.
What makes you different from other guides?
I believe the thing that makes me different is that I don’t treat this as a source of income. I truly do this as a hobby. I promise you a safe and enjoyable day every time!
