About Your Trip

Venture deep into Everglades National Park with Scott for a full day of technical backcountry fishing in one of Florida's wildest and most unique fisheries.

Leaving from Chokoloskee near Everglades City, you'll explore a maze of mangrove shorelines, rivers, bays, coastal areas, and remote backcountry water in search of Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, and other inshore gamefish. Scott considers the Everglades his favorite place to fish, and these trips are designed to show experienced anglers what
this incredible wilderness has to offer.

Fly fishing is the primary focus, but light tackle is also available for anglers who prefer conventional gear. Either way, come ready to fish. Opportunities at quality fish can happen quickly, and fly anglers should be comfortable delivering an accurate cast at roughly 50–60 feet when a shot presents itself.

These are full-day adventures with a minimum of 8 hours on the water. The remote setting, travel involved, and technical nature of the fishing make this a better fit for experienced anglers looking for a true Everglades backcountry experience rather than a casual introductory trip.

Every day is customized around conditions, fish movements, and your goals. From winding mangrove creeks to open bays and coastal water, Scott will work to put you in the best position to make your opportunities count.

Scott's passion for fishing started at an early age and has taken him from Michigan to waters across Hawaii, Alaska, Nantucket, Yellowstone, and eventually South Florida.

After settling in Palm Beach, he applied that diverse fishing background to learning Florida's inshore waters and developed a particular passion for targeting Tarpon, Snook, and Redfish on fly.

Scott is most at home exploring wild, hard-to-reach water. Years of fishing, camping, backpacking, and wilderness travel have taken him deep into some of Florida's
most remote fisheries, with the Everglades becoming one of his favorite places to guide.

Conservation is also central to his approach. Scott practices catch and release and supports organizations and initiatives focused on protecting Florida's fisheries and water quality so future generations can enjoy the same wild places he does.
