Climb aboard with Captain Meghan and chase down some Speckled Trout on her 21’ Mako!

Captain Meghan’s 21’ Mako trips require four anglers, so make sure you bring some good company! On this 5-hour excursion, you will be fishing in Texas state waters (up to 9 miles into the Gulf of Mexico), where the Speckled Trout will be awaiting your arrival. No matter your skill level, they will lead the way! All guests are welcome, but you must be older than four years old to ride this ride!

Captain Meghan will provide all rods, reels, tackle, and bait. You can purchase live bait for an additional fee. Captain Meghan and her crew will also clean and fillet your fish for you at no added price.

Have a fun morning or a relaxing afternoon, learn a new technique, and master your cast!

Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Drinks and snacks (NO seeds of any kind, these clog up the drains and are hard to clean up), Adult Beverages are allowed, NO Glass containers, Dramamine Non-Drowsy, To prevent motion and sea sickness, Soft-soled shoes only, Ice Chest with Ice for the day's catch, Change of clothes, Towels, Hat or Cap. All gear included.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
This trip is managed by an outfitter. Meghan will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.

The boat, captain (Bryan), and equipment were top-notch. He put us on catfish and trout first thing and we caught one roughly every other minute. We then used the trout as bait for sharks and caught 4 nice Sandbars. Seeing my nephew catch a shark was the highlight of our trip.

Captain Jonathan was awesome! Very honest and upfront about weather conditions and what fish to expect to catch. Captain was very friendly and helpful! When fish weren’t bitting, captain was Johnny on the spot to get us to a new spot in order to catch fish. We had a great time on our 6 hour trip and came back with plenty to eat! Captain Experiences is the home of over 1500 Damn Good fishing and hunting guides. Our mission is to unlock the outdoors for everyone, and we want to help you get out there through our no-hassle online booking experience and our team of outdoors experts.
We vet our guides to make sure they are the best of the best. We want guides who not only put you on 'em, but show you a great time, keep you safe, and give you a memorable experience with your group.
Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the case of inclement weather, our guides will make the call and we'll work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit for the full deposit of the trip to be used on any of our trips across the country. Your safety is our top concern.
Each trip’s price is set by the guide and factors in all of their costs. A big determinant of cost is often the type of boat and associated fuel costs, but other guide costs include leases, marina / slip fees, bait costs, and the cost to provide and maintain all of the gear you’ll need on your trip.
