About Your Trip

Get out there at dusk to hunt down some Flounder in the shallow waters of Galveston Bay! Captain Colt is a pro when it comes to gigging Flounder, and he really knows how to put his clients on the fish and help stack 'em up.

It's well known that fish behavior changes at night, when there are fewer predators to hide from. In addition, the baitfish that Flounder prey on love to feed at night, so there's no better time to spear some flatfish. Flounder gigging is a fun and efficient way of filling your cooler, and Flounder are a really tasty eating fish that can be prepared in a wide variety of ways.

Captain Colt runs his Flounder trips from the deck of his 18' airboat. She's equipped with underwater bow lights to highlight the fish, and has a wide deck to give you plenty of room for gigging. Get out there and have a blast!

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
