About Your Trip

Get out deep with Captain Benito and take advantage of the excellent offshore fishing that Galveston, TX has to offer! On this trip, you'll chase a variety of species including Amberjack, Cobia, Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, and Snappers in nearshore and close offshore waters. These fish are great eating and a blast to fight, with big reputations to match!

To get hooked up, you'll use a few different techniques including trolling, bottomfishing over reefs and rocks, jigging, and more. Let Benito know what you want to do, and he can make it happen!

Captain Benito runs his trips aboard his 25' Dargel 250HDX center console, powered by a 250HP Yamaha. Also, like all center consoles she provides 360º of fishing, giving you tons of access and making it easy for up to six guests to fish simultaneously. In addition, Benito's vessel comes ready with live wells for bait, ice boxes, and more!

All the requisite rods, reels, bait, and tackle will be provided for you at no extra cost. Just bring proper clothing, sunglasses, and sunscreen (no spray please!) and you'll be set to go. Get out there and bag some monsters!

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
