About Your Trip

Join Captain Brian for an unforgettable afternoon of fishing as you set out from Boston Harbor in search of hard-hitting Striped Bass and aggressive Bluefish. With trips starting between 11 AM and noon, this experience is perfectly timed to take advantage of mid-day conditions, when the fish are active and the harbor starts to come alive with movement and feeding activity.

You’ll be fishing aboard a sleek and powerful 26’ Jones Brothers center console, equipped
with brand-new 2024 twin Yamaha 200s. This boat is designed to handle Boston’s waters with ease, offering a smooth, dry ride and plenty of space to cast, fight fish, and enjoy the scenery. Whether you're weaving past the city skyline or working the structure around the harbor islands, you’ll be in good hands with a skilled mate onboard to assist throughout the trip.

Captain Brian uses a wide variety of techniques to dial in the bite. Depending on the season and what the fish are keying on, you might be drifting live bait, working jigs and poppers on light tackle, or even trying your luck with the fly rod if you're looking for that added challenge. It’s a hands-on trip designed to get you hooked up with quality fish using the method that works best on the day. Bluefish are known for their ferocious strikes and drag-screaming runs, while Striped Bass offer powerful fights and thrilling surface eats—especially when they’re busting bait near the surface.

This trip is great for families and anglers of all experience levels, and all fishing gear, bait, and tackle are provided. Captain Brian will also clean and fillet any fish you decide to keep, so you're all set to bring home some fresh dinner if the bite’s on.

To make the most of your trip, it’s recommended you bring polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and a camera to capture the action. Even in the warmer months, the breeze on the water can be cool, especially when the boat is running, so bring a jacket or sweater just in case, and pack foul weather gear if the forecast calls for it. For shorter trips, a few snacks and drinks are a good idea, and if you have a favorite rod or reel you’d like to bring along, just check with Captain Brian beforehand to make sure it’s the right fit for the day’s techniques.

Whether you're a Boston local looking to squeeze in a few hours on the water or a visitor hoping to experience the thrill of Northeast saltwater fishing, this afternoon trip with Captain Brian delivers a perfect mix of city views and coastal action. Come ready to fish, relax, and chase some of the best gamefish New England has to offer.
