About Your Trip

If you're ready to take on the ultimate offshore challenge, climb aboard with Captain Ira for a full-throttle, 10-hour hunt targeting giant Bluefin Tuna in the rich and storied waters of New England. Departing at 5:00 a.m., this trip takes you deep into legendary fishing grounds like Jeffrey’s Ledge, Cape Cod Bay, and beyond—where true giants roam and dreams of 100+ pounders come to life.

You’ll be fishing from a fully-equipped 35’ Harris boat built
for battle and comfort. With high-end electronics like GPS, radar, and a fishfinder, a live bait well to keep offerings fresh, and a flybridge for spotting surface activity, this boat is dialed in for serious offshore action. Onboard comforts like a full kitchen, bed, multimedia system, and clean toilet mean you’ll have everything you need for the long haul—even a refrigerator and ice box to keep your snacks and drinks cool.

Captain Ira and his crew bring over two decades of highliner experience to the deck, with a reputation built on putting anglers on trophy-sized fish and delivering the kind of day that lives on in fishing stories forever. These waters are known for their monster Bluefin, and you’ll be using proven methods—like trolling and drifting with live bait—to connect with one of the ocean’s most powerful and sought-after predators.

The trip includes everything you need to fish hard and fish right: top-quality rods, reels, lures, live bait, and all terminal tackle. Your fishing license is covered, and there’s a dedicated first mate on board to assist throughout the trip, whether it's helping you gear up, setting the spread, or coaching you through the fight of a lifetime. Once the lines come in, the crew will handle cleaning and filleting any legal catches, making sure you leave with both memories and fresh fish in hand.

From sunrise until the final run home, this trip is pure offshore adrenaline—the kind of day that defines why we fish. Captain Ira is ready to guide you through it all with experience, enthusiasm, and a passion for the chase. So bring your sunblock, your camera, and your A-game—because the next fish could be the giant you’ve been waiting for.
