About Your Trip

This is an offshore trip for Bluefin, yellowfin tuna mahi and wahoo. We troll as well as jig fish. The trip is run 25 to 50 miles offshore. This is a super exciting offshore trip with lots of whales, porpoise and birds feeding to view. This is the kind of trip offshore dreams are made of. Join Captain David for a 10-hour offshore adventure chasing Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo—with runs up to 50 miles offshore, right into the heart of the action.

From the moment you leave the dock, it’s all about high-energy fishing and wild encounters with the open ocean. These waters are alive with life, and along the way, you’ll often spot whales, porpoise, and birds feeding in massive offshore bait balls—it’s a show all on its own.

Once you’re on the grounds, the real thrill begins. Captain David will use a combination of trolling and jigging techniques to target these powerful pelagic species. Whether it's the blistering run of a Yellowfin, the brute strength of a Bluefin, or the acrobatic strike of a Mahi, this trip is all about fast-paced, rod-bending action.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 38’ Libby, built for long offshore runs and outfitted with everything needed for serious tuna fishing: CHIRP sonar, radar, GPS, outriggers, live bait well, and plenty of room to move when things heat up. The boat also has a clean marine toilet, an ice box for your drinks and catch, and all the gear you’ll need to go head-to-head with offshore giants.

When you return to port, your Tuna will be processed dockside so you can bring home fresh, clean fillets—make sure to bring an extra cooler for your haul. Rods, reels, tackle, lures, and fishing licenses are all included, and Captain David’s experienced crew will make sure you're set up for success from start to finish.

Whether you’re an offshore veteran or just looking to experience the thrill of bluewater fishing for the first time, this trip offers the full package
