Get ready for an unforgettable day on the water with Captain Sean and his expert crew out of Ocean City, Maryland—where the Atlantic Ocean serves up some of the most thrilling and productive fishing on the East Coast. Whether you’re looking to tangle with hard-hitting Tuna, battle powerful Sharks, or chase down trophy Marlin, this trip has it all.

The action starts early—real early. For day trips, plan on a 3:30 AM show time at the dock to ensure you’re on the water in time for first light and optimal conditions. Captain Sean’s team will contact you the day before your trip to confirm your exact departure time, so be sure they have a reliable contact number for you or someone in your group.

Your adventure kicks off just 8 to 10 miles off the coast with wreck and bottom fishing in the spring months. These waters are teeming with Black Sea Bass, Tautog, and Flounder, perfect for warming up the rods and stacking up the filets. As May winds down, the real excitement kicks in with inshore shark fishing. You’ll have the chance to go head-to-head with Mako Sharks, Threshers, Tigers, Hammerheads, Duskies, and Blue Sharks, as they follow baitfish like Bluefish and Mackerel into the area.

As late spring gives way to summer, offshore fishing kicks into high gear. Warm eddies from the Gulf Stream push in close to the canyons, bringing with them a rush of pelagic predators. By July, it’s full-on big game season—White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Wahoo, and Yellowfin Tuna are all in the mix and biting through October. Depending on the time of year and conditions, your trip may range from inshore wrecks to offshore bluewater—up to 40 miles out.

Captain Sean’s crew provides everything you need to fish: rods, reels, lures, terminal tackle, fresh or live bait, and fishing licenses for everyone on board. All you need to bring are your drinks (no glass), food, coolers, cameras, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, shoes, and extra clothing—it can be cooler offshore, so plan accordingly.

Fish cleaning is available at the dock after the trip, so you can head home with your catch ready to cook. Keep in mind that mates work for tips, and it’s customary to tip 15–20% for their hard work before, during, and after the trip.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 21 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 21 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
