About Your Trip

If you're looking to take your offshore fishing game to the next level, Captain Sean’s 30-Hour Overnight Canyon Trip is the ultimate experience. This extended adventure takes you deep into the famed Baltimore, Washington, and Poor Man’s Canyons, about 60 miles offshore, for a full day and night of non-stop action targeting some of the Atlantic’s most prized gamefish.

You'll depart the dock at 8:15 AM, giving you plenty of time to settle in and
gear up before the boat makes its way out to the deep. Captain Sean’s crew will be reaching out the day before to confirm departure and make sure you’re ready to roll.

Once offshore, the trip is all about variety and opportunity. By day, you’ll be trolling for Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, White Marlin, and Blue Marlin, while also keeping your eyes peeled for Shark activity. As the sun sets and the night shift kicks in, it’s time to switch gears and drift deep for Swordfish, a true bucket-list catch. You’ll also have a shot at deep dropping for Golden Tilefish, especially during the calmer daytime windows.

This 30-hour trip gives you the full offshore experience—from sunrise to starlight and back again—guided by a professional crew that lives and breathes these waters. Whether it’s your first canyon trip or you’re an experienced offshore angler looking for your next trophy, this is the trip that delivers.

Captain Sean provides everything you need to fish, including rods, reels, terminal tackle, lures, fresh or live bait, and fishing licenses for everyone on board. You just need to bring drinks (no glass bottles), food, coolers, cameras, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, comfortable non-marking shoes, and extra clothing—especially for the cooler temps that roll in after dark. And if there’s any personal gear or tackle you want to bring along, just give the captain a call ahead of time to check.

Fish cleaning is available at the dock when you return, so you can take home fresh fillets of your hard-earned catch. Please remember that mates work for tips, and a 15–20% gratuity is customary and greatly appreciated for their long hours and hustle throughout your trip.

If you're after big fish, big water, and big adventure, this overnight canyon run is calling your name. Book now and get ready to fish hard, sleep little, and make memories that’ll last a lifetime with Captain Sean and crew!
