Lake St. Clair is home to incredible Perch fishing, and with the guidance of an experienced crew, you’ll spend the day dialing into the bite. These trips are carefully timed and planned to take advantage of active schools, drifting over proven zones and using light tackle techniques to entice Perch with jigs and small presentations. The crew keeps things moving and engaging, adjusting strategies to stay on the fish and maximize your haul.

Your fishing platform for the day is a 1990 Tiara 3100 Open, a 31-foot boat with a 12-foot beam that offers both space and comfort. Built by Tiara S2 Yachts, this vessel features a galley, dinette, and private head—perfect for making your time on the water easy and enjoyable. Outfitted with the latest electronics and specialized tackle, the setup is ideal for targeting Perch efficiently and effectively.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, so just bring what you need to stay comfortable and fueled for a day on the lake. Make sure to pack sunglasses, sunblock, a hat, and clothing layers like a jacket and sweatshirt. Footwear should be boat shoes, tennis shoes, or water shoes—please avoid flip flops and black-soled shoes. Bring along some rain gear just in case, your favorite snacks and drinks, any medications you might need, and motion sickness pills if necessary. You’ll also want a camera to snap photos of your haul—it’s not uncommon to pull in a pile of perch when the bite is hot.

A one-day fishing license will be needed, but don’t purchase it until the crew lets you know whether you’ll be fishing Ontario or Michigan waters. This call is made the day before the trip based on weather and fish movement to ensure the best possible results.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
