From bottom fishing and trolling to popping and light tackle jigging, he’ll tailor the trip to your group’s experience level and the conditions of the day. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned angler, you're in good hands.

On the 4-hour trip, this is a great option for families or anyone looking for an easygoing yet productive outing. You’ll cruise the calm backwaters, bays, and nearshore reefs to target classic inshore favorites like Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, White Trout, and Sheepshead. Captain David will dial in the best spots and techniques to put fish in the box—he’s all about maximizing your time on the water.

Opt for the 6-hour trip, and you’ll get a little extra range to fish around the nearby islands and reefs where species like Tripletail, Pompano, and Black Drum often show up in strong numbers. You’ll have more time to chase that dream catch and soak in the full experience of Gulf inshore fishing.

You’ll be fishing aboard Captain David’s 28’ McKee Craft, a spacious and stable vessel built for comfort and versatility. It has room for up to 6 anglers and is equipped with everything you need for a successful day on the water—including a toilet inside the enclosed console, live bait wells, GPS, radar, wireless trolling motor, outriggers, and a fishfinder. There’s also an ice box onboard to keep your drinks cold and your catch fresh.

All rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait are included in the trip price, so just show up ready to fish! Your fishing license is covered, and Captain David’s first mate will be onboard to assist with anything you need throughout the trip. Once you’re back at the dock, they’ll clean and fillet your catch at no extra charge—so you can head straight to the grill or a local restaurant to enjoy the fruits of your adventure.

Families are more than welcome aboard, and kids often have a blast learning the ropes. Whether you're chasing your first Redfish or your next personal best Speckled Trout, Captain David is ready to show you a great time on the water.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.

After booking your trip, we'll connect you directly with your guide to discuss additional details. In the meantime, our team is here to answer any questions via email, text, or phone.
