Finally, the weather is back to normal, and the Spanish and King Mackerel have shown up in big numbers. Took a few young anglers and we kept busy on an afternoon 3 hour trip a couple of days ago.

The weather has been terrible lately, but we have been scraping tooth and nail to stay on the i shore bite! When we can get offshore the mackerel are thick and so are the snapper!!! Plenty of openings between myself and Mike, looks like next week we have quite a few days in the forecast to go out to the snapper grounds and hammer down!!

The trout bite is getting better by the day and the Spanish Mackerel are starting to show up in numbers few flounder are getting caught along with a few pompano.

I had a great half day trip with Ben last week. He knew a super place with lots of big Redfish. His custom designed skiff was made for gliding by and through the salt marsh. He rigged up my 8 wt with a 40# flourocarbon "tippet", tied on a hand tied fly, and we were off. Ben had me on fish all morning. I even caught some of them. Hope to go fishing with Ben again when in the Mobile area.

Tim was the absolute BEST captain we could ever ask for! We had the best time! This was our first charter. Tim is VERY knowledgeable and always put us on the fish! He is also very nice and easy to get along with. We booked 4 hours and we were catching fish the whole time. We will definitely be booking again 10000000/10 worth the money.

We took our first family fishing trip (3 hour inshore) today with Captain Reid and had the best time! We boarded his awesome boat in Fort Morgan and caught a variety of fish. Captain Reid was very knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we had a great experience. It was a very relaxing, laid back trip. Well worth the money. We look forward to another fishing trip soon. Pat was fantastic! So fun, friendly, kind and joined in on the laughs. Captain Pat deserves WAY more than 5 stars! We had such an incredible time on our boat excursion with him in Orange Beach. From the second we got on the boat, he made us feel like we were hanging out with an old friend rather than just another group of passengers Captain Pat was so fun, kind and truly enjoys what he does. He kept us entertained, showed us some beautiful spots, and made the whole experience so much fun. We laughed A LOT, saw some amazing scenery, and made memories we’ll be talking about for a long time Honestly, the only complaint we have is that the excursion had to end! We could have stayed out on the water all day If you’re visiting Orange Beach and debating whether to book a boat excursion, **BOOK IT — and ask for Captain Pat! You won’t regret it. We would 100% do this again Thanks for an awesome day, Captain Pat. You’re officially stuck with us as repeat customers!
