Cold weather brings out the tasty sheepshead! Fishing them under docks, and deep mangroves holes. Nearshore has been producing them as well in structures. Small pieces of shrimp on a jig head does the trick.

Fishing has been really good, even with the cold fronts coming through. It's not stopping the bite after these next few colder days are over; it will start to warm up, and the fish are gonna go crazy eating everything

.. but we wacked the hell outta the almaco jacks, had 3 huge fish that kept breaking 150# steal leader 😳 on biggest rods i got... funny part was his wife said i don't fish, I'm like well u got on the wrong boat for that, i handed her a rod and she wound up catching more fish than anyone else that day and by the end of the day she was talking about buying a boat 🤣
...but actually got along so well with em we went golfing the next day

18-inch mangrove snapper!!! 👍

Sheepshead bite has been really good and will only get better as these cold fronts move in. Targeting them near structure, pilings, rock pilings along the beaches. Using small prices of shrimp on a 1/0 circle hook and a pinch weight.

We had 4 of us and two kids one was 5 Scott was so patient with the kids and very interactive with everyone explaining each fish we caught- we caught 10 different species of fish that we boated but also had a shark and tarpon on. I would definitely recommend Scott to anyone who is looking for a great fishing captain.
