Night time is the right time. Dock lights have been fishing really well. 3-Species of Snook ( Common, Tarpon & Fat ) Tarpon, Jacks & Lady fish. Small white flys have been taking these fish.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Holiday season is full swing, the south Florida weather has felt like summer the past week. The water ways have been busy, be careful and vigilant of other boaters that are careless.
The snook fishing has been great around docks and seawalls due to the warm water temperatures sitting at 82°. Live bait, DOA C.A.L. 3" shad tails have the been the baits to get the strike. Moving water and clean water, key to success. There still dumping freshwater out in the ICW so fishing near inlets best bet.
Tarpon fishing is still excellent...

Tarpon fishing is still excellent in the Jupiter, Palm Beach areas. We are catching tarpon near mangrove shorelines, channel edges and near docks. Bigger tarpon are schooling on drop offs taking live baits and DOA Terror Eyz. Low light hours tarpon fishing around docks offer great action with the fly rod and live baits.
When not targeting snook and tarpon, jacks, drum mackerel and many other species are being caught jigging DOA C.A.L. curl tail and using live shrimp. Big schools of jacks and blues offer great action with top water as well.
Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can’t catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines!
Late bloomer! Hurricane Nicole sure snuck into the east coast of Florida packing a punch. Full moon super high tides made for a high water event for south Florida.
The fishing the days after Nicole produced great action as the inter coastal waters were teeming with a plethora of species. The mackerel, jacks, bluefish, snapper, tarpon just to name a few, produced drag screaming action for anglers.
Consistent schools of jacks, mackerel, bluefish and sharks made for smiling anglers as every cast produced a tug on the other end of the line. DOA C.A.L. curl tail and DOA terror eyz...

Consistent schools of jacks, mackerel, bluefish and sharks made for smiling anglers as every cast produced a tug on the other end of the line. DOA C.A.L. curl tail and DOA terror eyz mimic bait fish the predator fish feed on.
Channels and drop offs great areas to find roaming tarpon, looking for their next meal. Live bait and DOA C.A.L. shad tail were the bait of choice. The bite picked up on the outgoing tide due to the higher water levels. More water draw means more flushing of bait into open waters.
Snook fishing was good around docks as the tide dropped. Above normal hightides made snook hard to find along docks and mangrove shorelines. Lower tide levels the live baits and DOA C.A.L. 4” jerk baits produced strikes from snook.

November has arrived, fall weather has fallen out of south Florida. It’s been warm and the fishing has been red hot for a plethora of species the past week.
Channels and flats have been teaming with big schools of jacks, mackerel, tarpon, moonfish, bluefish and sharks. Glass minnow schools have been main target for the predator fish. DOA C.A.L. curl tail jigs and live greenies have been excellent baits to get the strike. Rapala skitter walks always fun for anglers, as they witness fish explode on the surface, striking there lure.
Tarpon schools can be seen rolling on the surface,...

Tarpon schools can be seen rolling on the surface, allowing anglers to cast DOA BaitBuster and live bait in there vicinity. Both side’s of the tide produce great shots at tarpon. The tarpon have been ranging in size from 10 to 60 pounds.
Snook fanatics have had fun targeting snook around sea walls, docks and bridges. Live baits, DOA Terror Eyz and Rapala skitter walks have been getting the strikes. Snook can been sight fished on the flats. Bottom of the tide, snook can be targeted laying in pot holes. Nothing beats sight casting and hooking up with a linesider.

Went out offshore this morning, clients hooked into 3 King Macks quick, then a pod of Dolphins moved in on us. Kings went down. and when the kings go down like that you’re wasting your time to stick around so we bumped it offshore. Hooked into a good size Mahi, had another ~20 pounder bust off. Then things went cold. So we picked it up and motored back to one of my favorite spots where we picked up a Bonito, 2 Baracuda, a 4-5ft Silky Shark, and to top it all off two lunker Black Fin Tuna! First was right under 20lbs and the second was pushing 30lbs if not over. Absolute studs. As far as an outlook goes, with this wind picking up and Tropical noise pushing up our way, we’ll be inland bass fishing for the next couple days. But given the bite today and recently, once the swells die down out there next week, I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be on Like Crazy!
Chad and JJ were both great. We had a slow day of fishing but JJ busted his butt trying to keep us on the fish. We hooked two sailfish which made the whole trip worth it! Boat was very nice too!
Had a great trip all around, good vibes! Captain Calvin was very knowledgeable and a great guide. Put us on a lot of fish and was very professional. Can’t wait til next time!
Great fishing trip. Took my husband and our two kids ages 11 and 13. Mike was so great with the kids teaching them how to reel in the fish. We caught so many fish! Such a great experience!
What a fantastic day! I’d absolutely book with and through Captain Experience again. My original charter fell through. But, Scott stayed on my itinerary. He communicated well and helped find another captain and fishing experience. 5 Stars and RJ and Mike were fantastic captains!
Unfortunately the Everglades had up to 3 inches of rain the night before, therefore the fishing was not good. He then hooked us up with Greg Hutch and we salt water fished the following morning. Had fun with both, just better fishing in the ocean.
