Fishing down in Shell Beach Louisiana has been pretty steady considering the heat and rain we've been having. Speckled trout and redfish have been plentiful this summer!
With good tidal movements all summer along with plenty of bait, the fish are here, and hungry! We've seen an uptick in tripletail this year as well. The Red Snapper have been great also. We don't have much longer for the season to be open. But the this weekend for labor day, we have a 4 day weekend to target Red Snapper among many other species out there in the deep waters.

The fall should be phenomenal down here this year with plenty of Speckled trout, redfish and sheepshead.
Bulls are abundant. Speckled trout fishing is picking up, starting to see the first few flocks of Bluewing Teal migrating south this means the fall is getting ready to kick in and the fishing will be off the charts. Remember one trip with us and you're hooked!!!!

Fishing down here has been pretty good considering how hott it's been the last few weeks. We've had some good tides and good bait moving in. The speckled trout are devouring the white shrimp rite now. We are also throwing allot of artificial baits as well to target trout and redfish. The sheepshead will start to make their way inshore to start spawning once the Temps start to drop in a few weeks. But the big ticket is the big refish run thats going to start sometime next week and run through late October into November.

Thank goodness the fishing is starting to get good. The past 2 weeks have been tough. But the Bulls are showing up after this full moon and they are hungry.

The trout fishing around Grand Isle has entered our typical summer time pattern. Large trout can usually be found near our beaches when Mother Nature cooperates while larger numbers of smaller trout can be found on many of our inland reefs. Like everywhere else in the SE, it's getting hot as the sun rises so it's best to try to get it done early then seek out the A/C and a cold pop.

Our day in Venice with Captain Rich was simply unbeatable. He tailored our time to catching the fish we hoped to catch and had prepared the gear and bait the way we prefer. He took us to some lesser-known, uncrowded locations where we caught our limit of redfish, several bulls and we could have done so all over again. A quick pass by another location yielded a trophy-sized triple tail also. My 11 year-old son was thrilled and had the best fishing day of his life so far! The guy is great, the boat is great and the experience will be long remembered. I strongly suggest you book with Rich when in Venice. "Fish on!"
What a great day. Me and my 2 sons fished with Captain Jacob and had an amazing day. Had 3 limits of red by 7:00 a.m. and continued to catch reds non stop for about another almost 2 hours. Even managed to pick up a handful of specks on the way in. Will definitely book another trip with him.
Captain Shawn. Did an excellent job on a difficult windy day. One us was able to limit out on the Reds. Would go back again with him if we have the the chance.
When I tell you a time was had!!! We had a group of 6 so we teamed up with Capt Shawn and Capt. Chad. The laughs started within 10 minutes of arriving to the dock! Both captains were very experienced, knowledgeable, hospitable and definitely made sure they put us in the best spots to catch fish!! We hooked multiple bull reds, speckle trout, sheepsheads and drum!! Definitely will be booking again very soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently went duck hunting with Captain Jacob and had an excellent experience. He was professional, courteous, and easy to work with. When the weather forced us to reschedule at the last minute, he handled it without any issues, which made the whole process stress-free.
The duck blind was clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of ducks flying overhead throughout the hunt. At the end of the day, Captain Jacob even cleaned and butchered the birds for us, which was a nice touch.
Overall, I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a well-run guided hunt. I’m already planning to book with him again.
Jacob is the man. We showed up and he was ready to rock. Boat was super clean, seats already set up, etc. We got to the blind and started shooting quickly and shot most of our three limits in ones and twos in the next two hours. We got skunked the day before in the same area without Jacob so we could appreciate each and every one of those birds. Would highly recommend.
Capt rich was very communicative with pick up and knew exactly where the fish were! Only took us about 3-4 hours to get a 6 man red limit. Great company too to have on board as a capt. Will be back for sure!
