blue fishing is still been very good around the sound in Hatteras. Also the red drum bite on cut bait has really picked up with the cooler water. Sheepshead fishing has been very good when you can get out on the wrecks outside the inlet or around the ferry basin on the Ocracoke side of Hatteras inlet using sand fleas and hermit crabs. As the winter progresses we will fishing in the Albemarle sound for stripers and targeting big catfish on the Roanoke River all winter. Speckled trout fishing has been as good as it gets. Sightfishing redfish has been good when the weather permits. The fish are falling into their winter patterns and the water is clearing up on the Pamlico Sound.

Fall fishing is as good as it gets right now. We are catching a nice variety of fish and in good numbers. Most days we are seeing speckled trout, redfish, black drum, and really big bluefish.

Reds trout and flounder is allways the norm while fall fisbing here at wrights ille beach. While speckled trout fishing makes up the lionshare of success large reds slot fish flounder blues inside as well as some king mackerel and false albacore in the near ocean waters. Should be doing more striped bass fishing as well as trout and reds through the wi ter!

When the NE wind blows the albie bite has been Off the chain! Tons of blue fish to cast and jig to, grey trout have moved in and are fun to catch and great to eat!

fall inshore fishing is well underway with an amazing mixed back bite. We are still seeing a lot of redfish, but the speckled trout and black drum have made a strong showing as well. Additionally the old drum bite is still well underway for those that are seeing a trophy catch.
