Well snapper season has been busy. We are staying bowed up out there. We are still catching some nice amberjacks, King Mackeral, and snappers. With the full moon and tides, the bite during the day has been challenging. However, there are still lots of fish out there showing up on the fish finder. The challenge to enticing a bite exists. We recommend scaling down on your leader size and floating some live bait out there to entice a nice hookup. If snappers aren't your thing, the sharks have been aggressive and there is a huge potential to hook up on...

We recommend scaling down on your leader size and floating some live bait out there to entice a nice hookup. If snappers aren't your thing, the sharks have been aggressive and there is a huge potential to hook up on an 8-10 footer. Mahi have moved in, if you see fish busting the surface throw a top water, or gotcha plug at the boil, you'll be surprised to what may be swimming below! It's been a hot, hot summer, stay hydrated and keep plugging. Now that the lunar cycle is changing, we expect the bite to get even stronger. Tight lines and we hope to see ya out on the water.

Well the season is finally starting to heat up. Through March and April you can expect a hot sheepshead bite. We have been catching tank sheepshead and redfish regularly fishing structure and the jetties on our inshore areas. The Spanish Mackerel have moved inside to the pass and inner bay areas for a great opportunity to pick them up on an inshore troll.
offshore the fishing has been spectacular with various catches of keeper Triggerfish, vermillion snappers, and seabass. Red snappers are abundant, however, they are catch and release at this time. We have picked up some great catches trolling...

offshore the fishing has been spectacular with various catches of keeper Triggerfish, vermillion snappers, and seabass. Red snappers are abundant, however, they are catch and release at this time. We have picked up some great catches trolling
baits to include Wahoo, and some heavy fighting amberjacks.
Although the water temps are cooler than normal, when you can find a good temperature break, you can expect some great hookups. As we progress through April, we look forward to warmer water temps and the fish to get more active.
April and May are some of the best times to fish in the Pensacola area as there are numerous opportunities to catch quality offshore action.
No matter what you choose, inshore or offshore, the action is hot and you will enjoy fishing with us!

Well it's the end of September and fishing has been outstanding. There is a variety of species still being caught offshore. Snappers, triggerfish, Mackeral, and Mahi are still actively chasing baits. Stopping to sabiki for live sardines and cigar minnows has been effective for targeting those offshore species. We can expect as the waters continue to cool down to see a slower bite as those big fish move further out. Therefore, bouncing around from spot to spot seems to be the key to pick up those big ones still lurking around.

Inshore, the mangrove snapper and sharks are still plentiful
on the bridges in the bays and any structure you can find. The big bull reds are starting to push inshore and we look forward to targeting those big schools as we progress into October and November.
There is still plenty of fish to be caught so don't put up those rods yet and let's get out there for some great fall saltwater action.
