Fishing reports straight from our guides in Galveston Island
Fishing the Coastal Bend in Port A and Aransas Pass has been steady even with water temperatures in the upper 80's and low 90's. Red Drum being caught on cut mullet, and Piggy Perch up shallow near grass lines. Black drum are scattered in deeper water off channel edges. Lots of trout being caught on grass edges with Piggy perch.

Sharks have been on fire.... along with other stuff BUT the shark Fishing has dominated with so many customers being interested in catching big fish.

I have been getting limits of trout in the bay, drifting with soft plastics on mid bay reefs or anchored over deep structure on live bait. We are also seeing better number of trout & reds showing up at jetties. Red Snapper fishing remains hot offshore.

Fish bite was slow but still managed to get some quality reds in they only wanted to keep 5 to have for dinner!!

Fishing has been great lately. We've been using live shrimp and popping corks and soft plastics for the win. Trout have been good on open water structure and redfish on shallow reefs.

Been catching good Speckled Trout and Redfish on lures early. Have also had some a good black drum bite when the customers are wanting to fill the boxes.
