Fishing has been really good on Galveston Bay lately with lots of redfish, black drum and trout coming in the boat! The bull red run is in full swing and should remain that way through most of November.

Shark fishing has been great this summer with some nice trout and redfish mixed in. We've been catching fish all over Galveston Bay and looking forward to our fall fishing and the exciting Bull Redfish run!

The trout bite has been really good, despite the high wind. Catching them drifting and wading. All on lures; Down South Lures in Chartreuse Flash and Skitterwalk top waters in pink/chrome.

We've been bouncing around a lot from town back to the Everglades because of the weather. Permit are making a showing around town with some nice Grouper as well. Still catching Snook and the Trout bite is fire in the Everglades right now.

Ralph was awesome with us. Making sure we on the fish the whole time. Easily we all caught 15-20 fish a piece. Three big reds were caught along with tons of sand trout. We also all caught 30 or so gafftop catfish as well.

We enjoyed our morning captainexperiences.com fishing trip in Galveston very much. Captain Brenden was enthusiastic and ready to go the moment we stepped onto the boat. One could tell that he cared very much about our experience, and time and time again he put the maximum effort into making sure our every need was taken care of. We really appreciated his knowledge and the big high five he gave us each time we caught a red fish, drum, or shark. The boat was well maintained, and the scenery at sunrise was in a word, breathtaking. Captain Brenden was friendly with all of the other boat captains, and we enjoyed the way he joyfully networked with the other vessels to ensure we arrived at the best fishing spots. We also very much appreciated that he filleted and packaged our fish shortly after arriving back at the dock. Overall, we had a lot of fun, and we would recommend another trip with Captain Brenden to our friends.
