The summer fishing has been very good, with lots of tailing fish. At least as long as the flats are quiet, plan on an earlier than normal start and finish (same time on the water) to avoid the afternoon heat. However the coastal winds keep it cooler than inland Texas.

From the moment we arrived, Captain Kyle was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about duck hunting. The setup was perfect, and he took care to make sure we were comfortable and prepared before heading out. Captain Kyle had an impressive understanding of the area, knowing exactly where to find ducks and when to call. To top it off, Captain Kyle was friendly and easygoing, making for great conversation and a genuinely enjoyable experience from start to finish.
