I continue to beat up on the red fish. The marsh has begun to fill back up. And the redfish are flooding in. We have been catching them with artificials and live shrimp. The trout bite has been slow for me. I just haven't been targeting them. Seems like we...

I continue to beat up on the red fish. The marsh has begun to fill back up. And the redfish are flooding in. We have been catching them with artificials and live shrimp. The trout bite has been slow for me. I just haven't been targeting them. Seems like we are having an early spring, water temperatures have already been in the upper 70 degrees. Wind will be the big issue going forward till June. This will only play into my hands, because I have bee catching fish in some very dirty water.

Fishing for reds drum and sheep head have been fantastic. The last couple of weeks the trout are just now moving in and the trout bite is picking up. Bay waters are warming up surf is turning green. It's time to go fishing.
