Redfish and trout be real active. Along the Houston Ship Channel rocks using live Shrimp I been also fishing the back waters of Galveston in order hide from the wind in order to target fish. The Fall temperatures are coming down along with Gulf temps bringing in many species of gamefish within casting distance from the shore. Expect snook, flounder, Redfish, Black drum, Sheepshead and others congregating in shallow water beach 🏖️ structures that you can walk to and fish. The beach is a great place to learn how to saltwater fish if you're new to the sport or a seasoned pro looking for a different approach than your usual boat trip. Remember, seasickness is never a concern, so you can focus entirely on fishing and fun 🎣. Tight lines from the beach!

Enjoying the month of November and the first 2-weeks of December off no floundering during this time of year. After the 15th December that's when the big flounder run is 6-8 pound flounder are common. And of course there's sheep head and drum running as well.

While the weather is cooling down, the fishing is heating up. Speckled trout fishing is really good with lots of slot fish being caught on float rigs and artificial. Sheepshead have been good but small. Better fish being caught over the last week. Sharks are a problem taking quite a few fish during the fight. Some reds being caught, many undersized and others too big. The temperature change should fire everything up. Let's go fishing!
