Additionally, sight fishing is a thrilling method employed by some anglers targeting black drum in the clear waters of Panama City Beach. This technique involves spotting black drum cruising along the shallows or around structure and casting bait or lures directly to them. We were looking for a different kind of fishing trip and found it - we loved the surf fishing experience with Capt Max! He is a professional in every sense - he reached out to ensure we knew what to expect and where to meet. The beach location was easy to find & park and he had chairs & water waiting for us. Capt Max is very personable - loved hearing his story! The surf was very rough so we didn’t have high expectations, but Capt Max worked hard to find fish! We caught three nice pompano which he cleaned for us on the beach (they were delicious by the way!). Plus, we were treated to a beautiful sunset! What’s not to love?! No early morning, no bouncing around on a boat, spending time on the beach, great sunset, and a tasty dinner - perfect start to a beach vacay! Can’t wait to do it again and a big thank you to Capt Max!

Capt. Greg did an outstanding job from start to finish. He was a total pro & texted ahead of time to give us a quick heads up for what to expect. Boat was super clean & in really great shape with plenty of comfortable seating. We were on Redfish from the jump!! Also caught a few beautiful grouper & other species. Greg was really patient with our 9yo, 13 yo, and 15 yo. Awesome trip for kids or experienced fishermen. We will definitely take another charter trip w Greg next time we are in PCB.

Captain Trey was awesome. The wind was high, water was rough and bite was slow but Trey worked very hard to find fish. We only caught 1 redfish but it was not from a lack of trying. He talked and cut jokes with the kids and made the day fun. He kept “Bocephus” rocking the radio too. I will definitely book with Trey next time we’re in town.

Captain Jimmy was awesome! The weather was not co-operating with us, but the Captain did everything that he could to get us on fish. we did catch a few - they just we not big enough to keep (spotted trout were 13" - 14") I think the Captain was more upset about us not catching fish than we were. Thank you Captain Jimmy!
