Hunting the marshes and swamps of Lake Okeechobee for ducks is an experience in itself. Not only do we hunt on the famous Lake Okeechobee, we also hunt various public water lakes and rivers as well as private land. The 96 hour option includes 3 full days of hunting, 4 nights of lodging, and all meals are included. The 120 Hour option Includes 4 days of hunting, 5 nights of lodging, and all meals are included. On our private waters, we hunt a mixture of swamps on private ranches and big reservoirs on dairies. We chase the ducks so each hunt could be in a different location. On day one we might run the airboat in the shallow marshes of Lake Okeechobee. The next morning take the mud boat out into some open water to try ringers, then pack up and go to a private dairy to hunt in a reservoir to knock down some black bellies. *This trip includes one 6'-6'11" Gator!* Alligator hunting in Florida is not for the timid or faint of heart! Here we provide you with a safe, fun, and exciting alligator hunt year-round. We offer both private and public land alligator hunts. On our private land hunts, we either hunt nuisance gators that are a threat to people or animals on close or surrounding ranches or in our private hunting preserve - which guarantees a harvest. Our private land hunts are “spot and stalk” on a pond or canal. If we find a gator laying on a bank, we will try to sneak up as closely as possible to get a brain kill shot. The size of a gator’s brain is about the size of a golf ball. If we do not see one on a bank but in one of the ponds or canals, then it becomes alligator fishing. At that time the hunter will try to snag the gator and fight it on rod and reel until it tires out and surfaces. At that time, the hunter will take the shot at the gator on the surface. You can use rifle, handgun, bang stick or bow to harvest your alligator. With our public land hunts, the hunter is required to either apply and draw a tag via a state lottery system or purchase a state public land tag from one of our guides when available and in season. These hunts take place on either an air boat or a flats boat with a seasoned gator hunting guide. Our rifles are equipped with pulsar XP50 scopes and we carry pulsar axion Xm30 handheld units which make scanning easier. They make spotting would boar at night a game changer. On this hunt we will ride the property on a Kawasaki mule with absolutely no lights on, just thermals. Once a hog is spotted we will sneak up on foot to within around 100 yds typically and take a shot. Our scopes have recording abilities so you can record your hunt and download the footage right to your hunt so you’ll have a hunt that you can share. We recommend any caliber from .223 to a .30-.06, however the weapon of choice on our swamp buggy hunts is a .223 A/R platform with a thermal scope. We also offer loaner weaponry at no charge, although there is a charge for ammunition. Ian and his team provide private hunts for each party, and on his high fence ranch you are almost guaranteed a successful hunt. You are sure to get a hog on hundreds of acres, either free range hunt or other property with rife, bow, or spear with dogs, you chose. We also hunt by stand, giant swamp buggy or on foot with your guide. This is way more then just a hog hunt, as you may see deer, and other game on this hunt at times.
