You will depart Ocean Springs harbor around lunchtime on Day 1 for an approximately 75-minute ride in our 32 foot Twin Vee to the houseboat where you will arrive with plenty of time to unpack and fish until dusk. Days 2 & 3 will entail full days of fishing – we will pack you a boat lunch if you want to fish all day or you can come back to the houseboat for lunch and some rest. On day 4 you will be able to fish until approximately 10 am before heading back to Ocean Springs harbor. You will have full use of our skiffs which are brand new 2023 16ft ZCB Pelican poling skiffs. They have 25hp Suzuki engines with electric start and power trim/tilt. The lodge is comprised of three wood-frame floating structures moored together. The center barge houses a bunkhouse with four sets of bunk beds for eight guests, along with an enclosed head and shower. One outboard barge contains the galley where meals are prepared and served, plus a separate generator room. The other outboard barge houses the crew quarters along with a screened-in lounge area that offers a separate dining area. All three barges have 360° access with plenty of shade for relaxing with a cold drink and appetizer. The clear waters of the Chandeleur Islands offer some of the best light tackle fishing in the country.
