    Sometimes the fish you are hoping for aren't the ones biting. That is why it is called fishing and not catching. When that is the case your guides can turn what could be a "bummer" trip into a fantastic day. Captain Johnathan and Deck hand Mike did that for our crew. We did catch fish and took home a beautiful Bull Red will feed all 8 of us. More importantly, we had a fantastic day on the water, great conversation with new friends, and learned a bit about Galveston Bay also.

    Brant is an amazing guide. He genuinely cares about you having a safe and memorable trip. It was a bit warm and crowded but we did catch a lot of fish many small trouts a couple of black drum and ultimately ended with 5 trouts that were legal a one black drum. We caught more cats than we could count but quickly threw those back. Brant enjoys fishing and will spend as much time as you want teaching you all he knows about fishing and the area. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great trip Brant.

    My son and I wanted to go fishing over spring break. He had his heart set on going deep sea fishing. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans. However, after speaking to Brandon we identified the best day possible to fish the bay. Captain Steve and first mate Jimmy took us out and made sure we had an outstanding time. While the boats around us were struggling to catch anything, my son was busy all morning catching fish. The weather window was perfect and we had a great time. These guys are great!!!     Jonathan and Cody were great today on our fishing guide. We got out there, set lines and got acquainted then it was on. Everyone got to reel some in. Having patience is key!! Everytime we stopped to chat it like we had another line hit. I was very nervous as this was our fist ever fishing guide and salt water fishing.     We had a really amazing time! We all got a little sea sick but Jonathan talked us through it lol. We were all newbies to deep sea fishing and Shree had never fished before at all! He ended up catching a 50” Red Drum and I caught a 37” Red Drum. (Fyi they make an actual drum sound once on deck) Oh and we lost a Hammer Head… fisherman anonymous here we come 😂 Jonathan was talkative and extremely knowledgeable. He knew what we caught before we even pulled it up. All in all… an amazing first experience! I think we will be excited to do it again!! After all we have to get that shark 😉
