Whenever I'm in Galveston or Houston for conventions group of us charters a fishing trip. Charles put us on fish and we put a variety of species in the boat...no limits, but fishing was steady. He unhooked and baited us up all day.. We typically fish CC to Pt Isabel in the Laguna Madre 15 or more times a year and boat 50 plus Trout each limits oof reds drum and flounder. We are experienced and I have a 23' Shoalwater and have fished the area since I was 10 years old. I have won numerous inshore tournaments inncluding THe Pt A DSR twice and Pt Mansfiield Tournament. over the years. Capt Charles knows the water and we found working bait... ifyou got baitfish... you have preditors. Great trip. Buster Williams

Dean was an awesome guide. He provided everything we needed to make this trip one heck of an experience. We caught plenty of fish at a nice size and really enjoyed pulling them in. My son (13) caught the biggest one Lol you should've seen the smile on his face. It was PRICELESS! :) We caught drum and trout that day. I have to say we a had a Damn good time! We will be back for sure! Catching good fish like that was a Blast! Good eating and too easy to catch. Dean put us right on the fish. Oh yea and did I mention Dean also filleted all the fish for us and zip locked it. We got back to the house heated up two pots of cooking oil made ourselves a seasoned batter and dropped that Fresh filleted fish in one of the Hot pots of oil and then dropped some french fries out the bag in the other. Let me tell you, we had ourselves a fish fry that day Jack! Big Shout to Dean AWESOME GUY and GUIDE!!

We had an unbelievable time with Capt. Cheryl and first mate Thomas! They were kind enough to take us out for a super last minute half day trip and did not disappoint. Within minutes of anchoring at the jetties, we were catching slot redfish and black drum. Things escalated quickly once we found the spot, and we pulled in TWO 40 inch plus redfish from there. Capt. Cheryl and Thomas kept our hooks baited, kept multiple lines in the water at all times, and kept the vibes positive and fun. I can’t recommend them more highly, thanks for putting me on my personal best redfish. This one will be tough to top! - Jonathan with Captain Experiences

We had the best time with Captain David! He was so nice and fun to fish with. I had never saltwater fished and he was very patient with me. She showed me how to bait the hook and did it for me until I was comfortable doing it myself. No judgement. He was an all around good guy! Took us to several spots and put us in fish every spot. We caught black drum, croakers and red drum. He took me to his Hail Mary spot ( shhh it’s a secret). And I caught a 15 pound Red Drum. He helped me step by step land it into the boat. It was so much fun and he was as excited as I was. We saw a mama and her baby dolphin and he took me as close as he could to them so I could get some pictures because he knew I was excited to see them. On the way back to the pier he told us some history and info about the things we were seeing. I will definitely book with Captain David next time we go down there.
