Shark Hunt: Thrilling Adventure
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Blacktip Shark, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Jack Crevalle, and anything else that bites. Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! For baby life vests please ask ahead of time, these are not typically kept in the boat unless requested. Captain Corey has four kids (two teenagers, and two under the age of five) therefore, he keeps a "Kids Only Snack Stash" on the boat, just remember to send over any allergies ahead of time! Your adventure begins aboard a 23’ Sea Pro center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t leave home without sunscreen, sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Now, come aboard with Reel Adventures and get hooked! Derek A. with Mike S. of Hitchcock, Texas
Son and I had a awesome trip with Capt Danny. Wind was blowing but found birds and found lots of fish. Main goal was to put my son on some nice redfish and last stop paid off with four redfish in less than 20 minutes. Would have liked one slot but that is why they call it fishing and I’ll take 4 rats over nothing any day. We did get some specs and sand trout to take home. Best part was back at the dock when we rigged up a sand trout and son Hooked into a huge alligator gar that he fought for almost ten minutes. Thanks again for a enjoyable trip.
Rob R. with Mike S. of Hitchcock, Texas
Fantastic trip! Captain was awesome and very knowledgeable. Would want our same Captain Danny again. Worth every penny I paid!!!!
Glenn R. with Mike S. of Hitchcock, Texas
The wind was brutal and fishing was tough but Capt Harry kept us on fish all day. Waded through tons of shorts and found some keepers to fill our belly’s. Capt Harry worked his tail off to make sure we had a great time and were satisfied. My son caught his PB red and trout. Till next time. Thanks Capt Harry.
