About Your Trip

Get out on some of the Adirondacks’ bigger waters with a guided motorboat fishing trip from Adirondack Mountain & Stream. These trips give us the ability to cover more water, fish a variety of depths and structure, and adjust throughout the day as conditions change. Depending on the trip, season, and current fishing conditions, we can explore lakes throughout the Adirondack region in search of everything from deep-water Lake Trout and Landlocked Salmon to Northern Pike, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Walleye, and other local species.

Every trip is customized around the anglers on board. We can spend the morning trolling for Lake Trout and Salmon, work shorelines and weed beds for Pike and Bass, jig deeper water using sonar, or combine several techniques and species into the same outing. Tactics may include trolling, casting, jigging, drop-shotting, and other proven Adirondack techniques. Electronics and sonar help us locate fish, identify productive structure, and stay on top of changing conditions. Beginners are always welcome, and your guide can provide instruction throughout the trip on everything from using the equipment to understanding the techniques we're using and why we're using them.

Our motorboat trips are designed to make getting on the water as easy as possible. Fishing rods, reels, tackle, safety equipment, and the necessary boating gear are provided, although you're welcome to bring your favorite fishing equipment if you'd prefer. Half-day trips include drinks and snacks, while full-day trips include lunch, snacks, and drinks. Trips can be tailored toward serious anglers looking to spend every possible minute fishing, families introducing kids to the sport, or anyone who simply wants to enjoy a day exploring an Adirondack lake with a local guide.

Adirondack Mountain & Stream has been guiding throughout the Adirondacks for more than four decades, and that experience goes well beyond knowing where to drop a line. Our guides spend their lives on these waters and bring knowledge of the local fisheries, seasonal patterns, wildlife, history, and surrounding landscape into every trip. Whether you're hoping to jig up a Lake Trout from deep water, watch a Northern Pike crush a lure beside the boat, chase Smallmouth along rocky structure, or simply see what is biting that day, we'll build the trip around giving you a memorable day on the water.
