About Your Trip

Hit the water in the afternoon (around 4pm) with Captain Jeff for a full blown dusk assault on the Texas Big 3. These twilight trips are great because you can escape that mid day heat. I'm not gonna say its going to be cool (especially in the summer time) but atleast it will be cooler than fishing around mid day!

Depending on the time of year and fishing conditions, your charter will be in Estes Flats, Aransas Bay, Red Fish Bay, Aransas Bay, and possibly over in the Laguna Madre and the Gulf Surf.

When Captain Jeff launches out of the Redfish Camp Boat Ramp in Aransas pass he is primarily targeting the limits of Red Fish and big Trout in popping corks through the bays, sight fishing the shallows, or drifting shell bottoms.

You will target four fish in particular: Red Fish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, and Black Drum. Depending on the time of year, one may be biting stronger than the others and Captain Jeff will let you know which one that is when you book the trip.

He’s easygoing, patient, and happy to accommodate anglers of all skill levels—from first-timers learning the basics to seasoned fishermen looking to fine-tune their approach. Jeff keeps the day relaxed but purposeful, making sure everyone onboard feels comfortable and confident.

When winter cold fronts roll through, you’ll find him tucked into a duck blind at first light, taking advantage of those crisp coastal mornings. But once the decoys are picked up, he’s always ready to swap the shotgun for a rod and get you back on the water for an afternoon of fishing.

I’m super patient and really love taking kids out for their first times .fishing and hunting. Have many people that I’ve seen grow up before my eyes! Love to have the opportunity to share my experience and love for everything outdoors with the next generations! God knows they need direction!!!

Cancel for free up to 2 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 2 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

He was great with the kids and his top concern was the safety of his passengers.
Once we shoved off he took us right to the fish!
Caught a nice Red less than a minute after the bait hit the water, and the action continued on after that.

This was an excellent trip. Thanks Jeff for being so attentive to all three of us. I write this review after consultation with my son and my grandson. We all collectively appreciate your over and above customer service. Three novice fishermen, one teenager, one middle aged father and one old fart grandfather and you were equally attentive to all three of us in our own language. I am particularly happy with the way you took my grandson under your arm. Correcting him when he needed correcting, teaching him when he needed teaching. It was a good trip.
