About Your Trip

Experience a full day of fishing and exploring the stunning inshore waters of St. Bernard Parish with Captain Paul. Located just outside of New Orleans, this 7-hour trip takes you deep into the rich marshes, bayous, and estuaries around Delacroix, Louisiana—a region known for its incredible inshore fishing and scenic beauty.

Captain Paul is a lifelong local and a passionate guide with years of experience navigating these waters. Whether you're casting for your first fish
or chasing a personal best, he’s committed to delivering a trip that’s both productive and enjoyable. His calm, welcoming style makes this charter especially great for families, kids, and beginner anglers, while his deep local knowledge ensures experienced fishermen can sharpen their skills and get on quality fish.

Your trip will take place aboard a 24’ Carolina Skiff powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine. Outfitted with GPS, a fishfinder, a bait tank, and a trolling motor, this boat is built for navigating the shallow backcountry and handling a full day on the water with ease. There’s room for up to five guests, so whether it’s a family outing or a small group of friends, everyone will have space to fish comfortably.

St. Bernard’s inshore fishery offers excellent opportunities to catch Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Speckled Sea Trout. Depending on the time of year and conditions, you’ll be fishing in marshy creeks, grass flats, and hidden ponds that make up this unique and productive habitat. These species offer steady action and are perfect for anglers of all skill levels looking for a rewarding and hands-on fishing experience.

Captain Paul provides everything you need to fish—rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, and your fishing license are all included. He’ll also clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip, so bring along a cooler if you’d like to take fresh fish home. All you need to bring are snacks, drinks, sun protection, and weather-appropriate clothing for the day.

If you're looking to get off the beaten path and experience one of Louisiana’s most iconic inshore fisheries with a knowledgeable and friendly guide, this trip offers a memorable way to do just that. Come see what makes St. Bernard a favorite among local anglers—and enjoy a day on the water that’s equal parts exciting and relaxing.
