About Your Trip

Join us for an unforgettable whale watching adventure through the scenic waters of San Diego, where natural beauty meets ocean wonder. Thanks to its spot along one of the Pacific’s most active migratory routes, San Diego is a year-round hotspot for whale activity—and there’s no better way to experience it all than from the calm, protected waters of Mission Bay and beyond.

Depending on the season, you’ll have the chance to witness a variety of
majestic whales and marine life in their natural habitat. From December through April, the spotlight is on the incredible gray whale migration. Watch as these gentle giants travel from the icy feeding grounds of Alaska to the warm lagoons of Baja California—February is the peak, when sightings are at their best!

In the summer and early fall (mid-June through September), blue whales, the largest animals on Earth, make their dramatic appearance. You'll also have the chance to spot humpback whales, famous for their acrobatic breaches and tail slaps that leave lasting impressions. These warmer months are some of the most exciting times to be on the water.

Even outside these peak seasons, fin whales and minke whales cruise the coast year-round, and you’re likely to encounter playful dolphins, including both bottlenose and common species. On rare but thrilling occasions, orcas—the ocean’s top predator—have also been sighted just offshore.

Whether you’re planning a fun family outing, a laid-back hang with friends, or a romantic evening escape, this whale watching and coastal cruise offers something truly special. Glide through the bay as the sun begins to set, painting the sky in vibrant colors and casting a golden glow across the Pacific. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.

Your captain and crew will make sure your experience is seamless from start to finish, providing expert guidance, wildlife insight, and panoramic views of San Diego’s breathtaking coastline. With comfortable seating, smooth cruising, and front-row views of some of the most spectacular wildlife on Earth, this trip promises memories that will last a lifetime.

Book your trip today and discover the wild beauty that makes San Diego one of the best whale watching destinations in the world!

Great time, great fishing. Ezekiel was great, knew exactly what to and where to fish. We did “Not just go on a boat ride.” We caught a Yellow tail. Which was the icing on the cake.
