The redfish bite has been fantastic, also lately we've seen more mangrove snapper that I can recall in my 30 years experience. The flounder and sea trout bite has been pretty dependable lately. We appreciate your interest and would be glad to tailor a fishing trip to your preference. Thank you

The bite has been slow this week, between finding a good weather day to go and finding people that are brave enough to withstand the waves! The Bonita are thick as usual, the blackfin tuna have moved in closer to shore within 5 miles! The squid is thick and the tuna are right behind them! Plenty of small reef fish being caught and vermillion snapper! But not a lot of fish in season at the moment! Trigger are fun to catch even though we have to release them!

Fishing is always more difficult with the weather in the winter, so if you’re looking for a constant bite we recommend spring but with that being said the tuna bite is really good so to each their own! We fish year round
Trolling- plenty of Bonita around, blackfin Tuna are close in right now between 5-15 miles of the pass! Mahi can be found further offshore on weedlines! King mackerel are a hard bite this time of year but can be found near shore
Bottom Fishing- Vermillions are in abundance right now and have some decent size to them too,...

Plenty of perch and Ruby lips running around so if a fish fry is what you’re after then that will be too easy to get! Grouper bite is good right now as well as Almaco Jacks
Capt Jon
Still a real good vermillion snapper bite. Red Grouper opened back up so if we catch one we won’t have to throw it back. Triggerfish closed but there are still alot around and alot of fun to catch. Fishing is good!

The flounder bite has picked up on the offshore wrecks along with a good amount of sheepshead on the bridge pilings. Still a few red fish hanging around the grass flats

Vermilion snapper bite is still strong. Triggers still in season until 31st December. Catching some Almaco jacks, and of course red snapper are everywhere. We are still running charters until we dry dock for a week or two in January. 6 and 8 hr trips are producing catches of keeper fish. Although the 4 and 5 hr trips are producing lots of fun fish to catch, not as many keepers.

Gulf fishing-
Gag grouper will close at the end of the month.
Nice to get one in before then because as I've heard they will most likely not open back up next year or at least in April of next spring.
Flounders are unfolding into fish boxes, but plenty around still.
Scamp grouper and smaller tasty bottom fish still bitting and will be.
Bay-
Redfish, trout, some Spanish still lurking, big giant 40 lb black drum for fun fight, and pompano being the highlight.

The trout bite has decided picked up over the last few weeks. Still a good amount of slot reds running the flats as well. Spanish bite was good but definitely started to slow down. Founder opens back up today so we will start targeting them the next couple months

Almacos have been biting as well as snapper and triggerfish! Water temp is 68 and very rough here lately! 5 to 6s in the mornings at 3 seconds! We missed a blackfin Saturday but caught 5 Bonita

Brian was excellent at finding the best locations to fish and knowledgable on how to catch them. From the start Brian was quick to get to the action and was very helpful with first timers. Enjoyed the trip and would choose Brian again for future trips.
We had terrible weather for our trip which made the day slow, but Keith has a great positive attitude and energy and worked hard to put us on the fish. Despite the very poor weather, we were still able to catch a few sharks (our target) and some other fish. We appreciated Keith’s focus and hard work to give us success!
We really enjoyed our time fishing with Hunter. He really spent alot of time finding the right spots to catch fish. We caught 20 lbs. of fish that we got to take back to Iowa. Hunter was awesome.
Captain David was really friendly and had the knowledge it took to catch fish. He took extra time to show/teach 9 year old grandson how to catch 4 different species of saltwater fish. Thanks again captain.
Brought my kids on the trip. Craig and crew were very accommodating and assisted family so I could also catch fish. Very friendly and highly recommend if bringing a family with mixed age group. Caught many snapper and get a few larger fish, grouper, Bonita, amber jack.
I will be looking up Craig for my next fishing trip in Destin.
