We caught some great fish red grouper, gag grouper, amber jack, red snapper, trigger and Mingo. Not all were in season so took pictures and released safely. Also could you add us to okaloosa island, fort Walton beach and destin area for search locations.

Trout bite has been good; they are moving out of the creeks out to the flats for spawning. The reds are in the pass and up shallow if you like to sight fish. Sheepshead are just starting to show up; the bite is still slow for them but should start getting excellent any day. Offshore Vermillion snapper has been excellent! We've been catching some triggers and a red grouper. The Amberjack is always a great way to finish up a trip of catching and releasing them

The offshore bite has been good in between fronts with plenty of Vermillion snapper and a handful of triggerfish and Scamp Grouper! We have also had a few catch and release trips, and the targeted species has been bigger fish like Amberjack pictured here. Your choice, exquisite table fare or drag screamers! Choice is yours! The Redfish are on fire right now. We've had consistent enough weather to pattern the fish, and the water is warming up enough to keep them active. Topwater plugs is my favorite way to target these fish right now, but I'll also use swim baits and jigs. The Red Grouper bite was on fire this last week with the couple of good weather days we had, and the Vermilion Snapper and Triggerfish have been consistent all month. Red Snapper and Amberjack are easy to find, but until their season, we'll keep targeting other species. Spanish Mackerel are starting to get...

Spanish Mackerel are starting to get caught in the bay, but I expect it to be April 1st before the bite fires off.

The giant sheep head are biting very well and given descent seas and a 5 hour trip or longer I'm catching some delicious red groupers in the gulf. Even a ruff day and to windy even in the bay to target sheephead, still catching delicious and fun fish.

The Vermillion Snapper are biting! The red grouper has slowed down a little but still catching a couple each trip. The Amber Jack bite inshore and off has been great fun to catch and release. The inshore Redfish are shallow been sight fishing for them and the big trout are starting to bite.

The Pompano bite was great ahead of the full moon and the mild weather before the cold front came in. We were catching all of our fish on Fish bites and fresh dead shrimp.

I booked this trip mainly for my 12 and 15 year old grandsons to experience. Max was an excellent guide and really made sure the boys had a great time and caught lots of fish. I would definitely book with Max for future trips.

We definitely had a good trip with Captain harold. He put us on fish all day long on our 10hr trip. We caught a lot of fish between the 6 of us at every location captain harold stopped us at. We recommend this guide to anyone who wants to have fun catching fish.

    Trip: Intense Inshore Action!

  • ★★★★★
Was a great experience for my inexperienced family. First we caught bait fish jigging a little offshore. Using a 5 hook rig almost every time we hooked multiple fish. Catching 4 to 5 was not uncommon. Then we went about 8 miles offshore to fish in about 90’ of water. Everyone caught fish. Just a note that catching a 24” amberjack in 90’ of water will wear a person out. Though we caught lots of fish only had 3 of keeper size. My entire group said they would do it again.

    Trip: Fall Inshore Fishing Trip

Honestly, we were very disappointed in our trip. The beginning was fine. As time went on, David ‘s language was a bit rough with choice words that we didn’t need to hear. His driving of the boat in rough water was way too fast and both of our backs are still hurting a week later . And we may be a bit older- but both in good shape. At the end of the trip- just had us casting in grass. Never been on a trip where at least cold bottles of water weren’t offered or available . Would never recommend. Expensive trip for a few fish and not as we have experienced before on other fishing outings. We did give a nice tip 20% because that’s who we are . Wish him the best in the future.

Captain Richie did not disappoint. Party of 10 with 8 of us beginners, each came away with multiple catches! During our last stop, we encountered a school of Mahi Mahi. Captain Richie and crew tried to capture as many possible!! Will definitely book again!
