Water temps are in the 90's by 8am so an early start for fishing trips has been the key. With lots of clown knife fish, Large mouth Bass, and Hybrids keeping the rods bent.

With iguana hunting in such high demand, areas where hunters are permitted to shoot the lizards have become popular and over hunted. South Florida Fishing Report Offshore action has been steady, with mahi fishing producing decent results in depths ranging from 900 to 1,500 feet of water. Anglers are finding success around broken debris and floating seaweed lines, where schools of mahi have been holding. The bottom bite has been on fire with mutton snapper black grouper and some nice gags. We also caught lots of Blacfin tuna limiting out a couple days with some fish in the 20 pound range and one over 30 pounds. The sailfish showed up today.
